Every country has its own set of beliefs and traditions. Sometime people practices some rituals as the name of religion that looks to you very strange and unusual. Here are the top 10 bizarre traditions of the world that still observed and practices in the parts of the world.
10) Bullet Ant Gloves
This is very usual for the Satere-Mawe tribe of the Amazon. The Mawe believed to become a Man every boy should have to experience and gone through worst pain. In this ritual the dozens of Bullet ants kept in the the glove. The young men needs to wear this gloves 20 times for 10 minutes. Bullet ant's sting supposed to be 20 times more painful then the honeybee. Their ritual is exceptionally painful physically and physiologically.
9) Tooth Filling in Indonesia
In Indonesia a ritual is performed by both genders before marriage, they fill their two teeth. Yes, you heard it right and without any help of dentist or any anesthesia. The reason is to fill the teeth to control evil human characteristics like lust, greed, bad thinking, negative thoughts. Weird, isn't it?
8) Cinnamon On The Single's (Denmark)
Being single is not a bad thing at least it is very common in many parts of the world. But, If you are living in Denmark, then prepare to get covered with cinnamon. Yes, it is right in Denmark, when you turn 25 and aren't married you get cinnamon thrown on you. Best tradition ever to take the revenge 😋 !
7) Keeping the loved ones alive by eating their ashes (Brazil)
This peculiar ritual is a part of Yanomami tribe lives in Brazil. They believe that when a loved one dies, the family members must consume their body. This does not mean they eat flesh of their loved ones, they burn the body to become ash then that ash is mixed into family's food. By this they believe they would become part of them. Very strange, isn't it?
6) Throw the baby for good luck (India)
This ritual is mostly done in Karnataka, where the newborn is thrown from Sri Santeshwar temple 50 feet high. The child is clearly caught in the cloth. After taking oath in the temple, The couple who blessed with a baby follows this more than 500+ year tradition. They believe it brings good luck to babies. Can I throw some people without catching them 😅?
5) Feed the dead with wine (Rome)
In Rome burial grounds, graves contain pipes that led to the outside of the Graveyard. Feeding the dead is a tradition of Romans where they pour honey, wine and food into the grave of the dead through a pipe.4) Amputations of fingers when someone dies (Indonesia)
In Dani tribe of Indonesia the death of a person is being reminded to his family member every day. The women's of the family are expected to cut off the top part of their fingers as a sign of respect and grieving. Every culture has its own traditions about pregnancy that are strongly driven by their faith, beliefs and ancient wisdom. The Chinese are no different and have a long list of customs that may sound strange to some people's. Once the pregnancy is confirmed, the father-to-be has to carry his pregnant wife over burning coal, to ensure that the mother undergoes labor successful. Wow!! , Sole burning experience it would be.. 😰😰

In most cultures the dead are buried or cremated within days of passing away, but Indonesia's Torajan people keep the bodies of their relatives to "live" at home with them, sometimes for years after their deaths. They offer food, cigarettes, water to them too. Well this is weird and scary too.
